Lately, I've been a bit obsessed with the exercise commonly known as 'The Burpee' and I am here to defend it's honor. Even though I don't like it all that much.

First of all, you should consult a Doctor before starting any exercise program, but I beg of you to watch this example of an 'Easy Burpee' below.

You'd never guess how quick your heart starts pumping when you do a few of these and the level of difficulty exponentially rises with each variation in the video below.

The second variation on the video above is what I have been working on at Fit Body Transformations in Brentwood. I do SIX in a row and then rest for the remaining time left in a 60 second interval. FOR FIVE SETS. Well, yesterday my first three sets were textbook while my last two sets were, shall we say, interesting.

I shall not rest until FIVE sets are perfect!

For those of you that are still working out for your new year's resolution. I guarantee any of these Burpees will help to build muscle and rev up your metabolism.
