How exciting for the team of incredible cheerleaders at Dover High!

This year, for many athletes, it's been really tough to get together for practices, games and tournaments, but the Dover High Cheerleaders made it happen.  Not only did they go undefeated all season long, they just won the title of NH Division 1 State Champions!

It’s hard to put into words exactly how we are feeling. It has been a crazy season with many uncertainties. But with lots of safety precautions and rules we strictly followed- we were able to complete our fall 2020 season. This season was unlike no other. Every day - we were grateful and thankful to be together and continued to work hard and set goals. We never took being together and having the opportunity to practice & compete for granted and cherished every moment which is what made this season so special. This team was not letting Covid stop them. They chose to rise up- and that’s EXACTLY what they did this season. DVC 2020 went undefeated- and ended their season with the amazing title of NH Division 1 State Champions! We are so proud of all their accomplishments- Especially their dedication to their team and striving to do better each and every competition.

In high school, I was not a cheerleader, but I always wanted to be.  I saw how hard they worked every day and to see them fly in the air was just astounding!  A cheerleading squad works as a unit and gives girls and boys life-skills that they take way beyond high school.

Congratulations to all!
