Dover Named a NH Destination

Seacoast residents know why Dover is a destination, now a popular website has picked up on it.

The website Only in your State recently published a list of some wonderful reasons to visit the Garrison City.

Dover is the oldest town in New Hampshire and the seventh oldest in the United States.

The site has made a list of ten things visitors should experience on a visit to Dover, and they include checking out the Woodman Farm Museum, spending time at the Children's Museum, walking through the Bellamy River Wildlife Sanctuary, shopping at Salmon Falls Stoneware and Tendercrop Farm.

Dover has done a wonderful job preserving it's history. If you've lived here long enough, you saw the resurgence of the downtown area beginning in the mid 1980's and continuing to this day. Dover has indeed become a shopping and dining destination, as well as a great place to raise a family.
