Katz Deli in Dover is very well known in the Garrison City.  It's located in a residential part of town, just off of Central Avenue on Ham Road.  Every day, people from the neighborhood and beyond go to Katz for breakfast, lunch and sometimes dinner.

Not only does Katz feed their community from their patrons, they are also helping out those less fortunate with their "Pay it Forward" campaign.  When you walk into the Deli, you will see a board filled with food items that people have donated.  You will also see Shaw's bags filled with food that has been donated.

If you don't know what to donate, you can also make a cash donation, which is what I did when I went in this morning.  The food is donated to people who are "food insecure."  Katz really does fill up your belly and your heart.

The prices at Katz are reasonable too.  For instance, a bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich will only cost you $3.00!  Other places charge way more than that!

This place reminds me of my Mom and Dad's store that we had when I was growing up in Nashua.  It too was in the middle of a residential neighborhood and people relyed on us, especially during the winter months if our older population couldn't get out of their houses.  Some were able to walk to the store to get essentials, but there were others that we delivered to.  It was the heartbeat of the "tree streets" of Nashua.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
