17The Dover Children's Home is a fantastic organization that serves underprivileged youth and their families in our community. Their goal is to provide tools and support for youth to heal from emotional trauma. This is done through community-based treatment programs that foster relationships and enable youth to create hope for the future.

Sometimes we are all so consumed with our own day-to-day lives that we forget there are children out there who are REALLY struggling. They may not know where their next meal is coming from. They may not have a warm bed to sleep in at night. The things that we consider a necessity, they consider a luxury.

February vacation is right around the corner! The Dover Children's home is giving you the opportunity to sponsor a child and give them the gift of an amazing experience. Every kid deserves to visit these places but not all kids are fortunate enough to have families who can afford it.

Here are the trips you can choose from:

A day of skiing at Gunstock Mountain - $480

Ice Castles and lunch at McDonald's $350

A day at the movies with snacks - $250

Lunch at Popover's & ice skating at Strawberry Banke- $200

Mount Washington SnowCoach Tour - $400

Ropes Course at Jordan's Furniture and Lunch at Panera - $290

Even if you aren't able to fund an entire experience, any amount is greatly appreciated and makes a huge difference. Check out their website and learn more about how you can help.
