River Bend Pizza In Dover, NH To Close After Many Happy Years

Well, I suppose that all good things must end, but...... this is another iconic restaurant closing that we will particularly miss. Bob and Cindy at River Bend Pizza are retiring.

The emotional announcement was made on their Facebook page. You could almost feel how hard it was for them to tell the community this news. River Bend has become part of our lives in Dover and beyond.

Iconic NH Restaurant Says Goodbye to Generations of Customers

A restaurant that has been open for as long as River Bend has, builds long lasting relationships with their customers. In this case, it spans generations. Bob and Cindy said this was an honor to witness.

River Bend Pizza isn't closing right away, which I am so thankful for. They have given us a bit of time to visit. They are closing their doors for good on May 22, 2026.

River Bend Delivered Delicious Food to the Dover, NH Radio Stations

River Bend is about 2 minutes from the radio stations, but often, we would get wrapped up in our work, call River Band and they would deliver delicious food to our front door.

We would like to THANK YOU for all of your wonderful pizza, subs, salads with amazing tuna salad and yummy croutons, (my personal fave) and the special RIVER BEND sodas! Thank you, thank you, thank you. You fed our listeners for more events than I can remember and kept us from being hungry and crabby throughout our day.

Bob and Cindy, you deserve to retire and take all the love you've created for this community with you. It's time for you to put your feet up and relax.
