I never thought that I'd be a soccer fan, but ever since the Women's National Soccer Team won it's Fourth World Cup, the sport has caught my attention.  How fun is it going to be when there is a pub in Dover with live soccer games all over the place?!

The June Cork Pub, according to a story in Foster's Daily Democrat, will be opening it's doors at the end of this month or beginning of April for people to come in and enjoy fish n' chips, good conversation and of course, British Ale.  The space used to be the beloved Weeksie's Pizza.  One of the menu items will be an homage to Weeksie's, the "cheesy-fry pizza" will be on the menu at the pub.  Nicely played, new guy, nicely played.

The owner, John Bushnell named the pub after his Grandmother, so the report says, June Cork, who was from England.  The inside of the pub will have a traditional British pub feel to it with 18 variations of draft beer, dark wood, two bars and of course, all kinds of sports on the television which John hopes will build a sports fan community as time goes on.

The address is 66 Third Street in Dover.  See you soon for some fish n' chips!
