Fallen New Hampshire Officer Honored

(Washington, D.C.) - The name of Brentwood Police Officer Stephen Arkell is being added to the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, D.C.

Officer Arkell was shot to death on May 12, 2014 as he responded to a domestic disturbance call in Brentwood.

President Obama has ordered flag to fly at half-staff this Friday for National Peace Officers Memorial Day.

Governor Maggie Hassan says flags in New Hampshire will also fly at half-staff on Friday May 22 for the New Hampshire Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Ceremony.
