I hate this pandemic so, so much.  Here's another reason why.

Dr. Anthony Fauci who was interviewed by Norah O'Donnell, according to a story from WMUR, said that Thanksgiving gatherings should be limited to people you know have limited contact with other people.  Dr. Fauci also goes on to say that we might have to "bite the bullet."  He, himself, is not going to see his children who all live in 5 different states because they would have to fly, potentially exposing them to COVID-19.

Well, poo.

Do you really know what to think with this virus?  Dr. Fauci is supposed to be the expert on all things infectious, right?  That's what he's done his whole life, but WHY are there people who don't believe him?  Also, if I'm being honest, I guess I don't understand WHY I can't get together with my whole family.  Does that make me one of the ones that doesn't believe him?  I don't think so, no.   I think it just means that I want to see my family and this is pissing me off!

My little family is going to get together in the morning and have Thanksgiving brunch, then I'm going to be doing drive-bys with the other members of my family.  I just really want to at least wave to them from a distance.  It makes me teary-eyed when I think of not seeing them, hugging them, laughing with them.  My heart hurts.  My siblings are all spread out too, so what if I don't have time to see all of them?  Maybe I'm the only one who cares about seeing their faces?  Do I have family that are secretly happy that they don't have to deal with everyone?  The whole thing sucks.
