No maple squares for you, Bub.  At least, for now.

According to Harvey's Bakery and Coffee Shop Facebook page, a customer who dined inside at Harvey's on Saturday, October 31, 2020 from 12noon to 1:15pm has tested positive for COVID-19.

The restaurant is closed in an effort to keep their customers and staff safe from the virus.  They are doing a deep clean of the entire building and working with NH DHHS and the City of Dover to adhere to all safety guidelines.

I personally know that Harvey's has adhered to all the safety guidelines since the pandemic started.  They have even had customers come in without a mask and create a scene with the staff at Harvey's when they asked them to please wear one.

Harvey's has been in Dover for 84 years, according to their website. The Guillemette family has been a staple in this community for not only their delicious maple squares, but their birthday cakes, fig squares, coconut cream pie, OH!  I could go on.  Oh yeah... their chicken pies have fed my family on many nights.  I am sure it's tough on them and all restaurants trying to survive this thing.

Harvey's will be back after the deep clean and by then, I'll be craving a cream filled maple round.  Ooooooh.....

Here are some tips for self-care during the pandemic:
