Kim Faustino took to the he (un)Official City of Dover, NH Facebook page to share that she is leading the charge for a really important effort this weekend.

If you live in the Dover, New Hampshire, area you know Willand Pond is a fantastic place to hike, have a picnic, take out a canoe, or fish for trout. People bring their families, friends, canines, and plenty go to enjoy a moment of solitude in nature.

I get so sad to see litter and trash in a place as beautiful as Willand Pond. We need to preserve these natural and beautiful spaces so they can be enjoyed by future generations. If this is a cause that is near and dear to you, Kim Faustino could use your help this weekend.

This coming Saturday November 7th from 9:30 am to 11:00 am there will be a Willand Pond clean up. Anyone is welcome! She asks that you please park at the old Staples. The entrance to the pond is a dirt road in the back on the left side of Staples. If you are able to join kindly wear a mask and gloves and bags will be provided.

I love to see communities come together for such a positive effort. Let's try to leave this earth a little better than we found it.
