How You Can Help New Hampshire Kids Get Ready for New School Year
Our friends at WMUR are asking for your help this Friday, August 3rd as they team up once again with Service Credit Union, New Hampshire Food Bank and The Boys and Girls Clubs in New Hampshire for the 2nd annual 'Pack a Pack' school backpack drive.
Here's the simple way you can help! See, the goal of 'Pack a Pack' is to collect as many school supplies and backpacks as humanly possible! Everything collected will then go to local students in need to have in time for the upcoming school year.
If you would like to help a local child in need, here's the 'Pack a Pack' wish list:
-- New Backpack
-- Pencil sharpener
-- Box of colored pencils
-- Pack of No. 2 pencils
-- Pair of student scissors
-- Glue sticks
-- Spiral notebook
-- 12" plastic ruler
-- Pack of ballpoint pens
-- 2-pocket folders
DROP OFF LOCATIONS
All 33 Service Credit Union locations in New Hampshire are accepting stuffed backpacks during regular business hours.
The goal is to have at least 3,500 backpacks fully packed with school supplies!
