It’s Elvis’ 81st Birthday Today, Celebrate It Properly Right Here [VIDEO]

Happy Birthday Elvis Aron Presley born January 8th, 1935. 'The King' is too often remembered for his bedazzled jumpsuits and health problems and not for his unparalleled rock voice. This performance of his is my absolute favorite.

Recorded in June of 1968, this segment of his 'Comeback Special' featured great rock classics from 'The King' from the days before he joined the Army and then became a movie star.

25 years later, this same 'Unplugged' format would become wildly popular with rock bands and performers across all genres, but in my opinion, none were better than Elvis' session.
