Not only is it Good Friday, it's National Pecan Day! Unfortunately, I'm allergic to them and that's probably what makes this recipe video from Chef David Guas look so tempting!

I guess the proper way to pronounce this is 'Pah-Cahn' but I've always pronounced it 'Pea-Can' because I'm a proud New Englander.

However you pronounce it, feel grateful that you can eat it without swelling up and falling asleep for 24 hours straight. I'm envious!
