The price of gas has always been in flux.

There ha never been a time, at least since we were born, that the price of gas was not going up or down at least a few cents each week.  Of course, sometimes, the prices either nosedive or spike.

Sometimes, these changes are caused by things happening here in the United States.  The price drop brought on by the lack of travel during the pandemic, for example.  In most cases, however, these changes are brought on by events in other parts of the world.  The current conflict in Iran and the situation with the Strait of Hormuz are good examples of this.

As we all have experienced, this conflict has caused a spike in the price of gas across the nation.  The prices have really gotten out of control.  They have reached a point where anyone that needs to drive a distance for work or school is really suffering.

Fortunately, one particular gas station chain wants to help you save a little bit.

Irving Circle K Stores Offering Gas Special

According to a post on the Circle K website, the gas station chain will be running a gas special on the afternoon of Thursday, May 7th.

You will save 40 cents off the price of a gallon of gas between 4 PM and 7 PM.

If you are an inner circle member, you'll be able to get that special price from midnight through 7 PM.

This special offer will be available at all Irving Circle K stores

There is also a charity aspect to the event.  The website explains:

In observance of the Memorial Day holiday, Circle K will once again donate 10%, up to a maximum of $250,000, of the profits during the three-hour event to the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, which provides college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty.

Please share this with your friends and family who want to save on gas.
