She’s Kamala Harris from Seabrook, NH, and Her Vote is a Mystery

Can you imagine having the name Kamala Harris in this day and age? Well, it's a true, according to cbsnews.com, and she lives in Seabrook, New Hampshire.

I'm hopeful that Seabrook Kamala voted yesterday. She said that it would be silly just to vote for somebody just because they have her name. Seabrook Kamala also said that she liked the fact that the VP supports a woman's right to choose and Trump supports weed, which she also likes.

The deciding factor for Seabrook Kamala's vote is economics.

Now that the election is over, I wonder if Seabrook Kamala is relieved that the VP is not going to be the President? I would think that would be a nightmare for her with people not believing that is her real name.

Having a name that is constantly in the news must be a bit jarring, to say the least. Remember when Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans in 2005? It was tough to have that name after that, kind of still is.

In my own family, my father's name was "Dick," which at the time that he grew up, was a very common name, but today, it's likely you go by "Rick" instead.

My Dad is not the only one with that name. Former New Hampshire State Representative Dick Swett served the state from 1991 - 1995. Being a broadcaster, I was glad when that was over. Do you know how hard it is to say the name, "Dick Swett" without giggling? It's hard. (that's what she said!)

I hope that Seabrook Kamala cast her vote, no matter who it was. It's our right and it's important.
