Ahead of the Fourth of July holiday, New Hampshire has rocketed to the top spot in Patriotism.

Stock up on all things red white and blue guys, because we are #1. Boston may be the best city for hockey, New England obviously rules all (well most) things sports, but here in the Granite State, we have huge bragging rights! According to Wallet Hub, New Hampshire was recently voted most patriotic in the United States of America. Surprisingly, our state slogan had nothing to do with being number one. Per their website, they compared 50 states across 13 key indicators of patriotism. Wallet Hub's data set ranges from share of enlisted military population to share of adults who voted in the 2016 presidential election to AmeriCorps volunteers per capita.

New Hampshire had a total score of 63.08, which bested Wyoming. Fellow New England state Vermont placed third, and our other neighbor, Maine came in at #13.
