Local Swears Ceal's Clam Stand in NH is the Best in the World

Just when you think you're the expert on something, someone comes along and corrects you, big time. Hey, it's a good thing to keep the ego in check.

New Hampshire Has Amazing Fried Clam Shacks

If you read what I write and I hope you do, you might be aware that I love good fried clams. I've made lists of the best in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Recently, I ran down some of my favorite places in NH on the air and a guy named Tom called the studio line.

He was a very nice fellah, but he said to me something like, "Sarah, how could you have a list of the best fried clam places in New Hampshire and not include Ceal's Clam Stand in Seabrook Beach, NH?"

Tom, a local from Hampton Beach, NH, said that Ceal's had the best fried clams in the entire world.

Tom went on to tell me the history of Ceal's and how it's been there for over 70 years!

Can I even call myself a native of the 603 anymore? I may have to pass in my "Live Free or Die" card.

Same NH Fried Clam Recipe for 60 Years

Tom went on to say how this place uses the same recipe that generations before have used. It hasn't changed and according to Tom, they are the best clams he's ever had.

On Ceal's website, I was able to see pictures of the place and my memory came rushing back to me. I have passed Ceal's a million billion times and never stopped.
