Market Basket Movie Update: Film Fest in Boston followed by DVD Release

Food Fight: Inside The Battle For Market Basket will be part of BIFF, The Boston International Film Festival with two showings later next month. The production company for Food Fight, JBC Film Group, also has a very exciting announcement about the impending release of the movie on DVD.

Here's a recent statement from JBC, taken directly from their Kickstarter page:

Our Boston screenings are Friday April 15 at 7:30 and Saturday April 16 at 5 pm. Tickets will be available at http://www.bostoniff.org/attend/passes-tickets/  Individual event tickets aren't available yet so check back from time to time.

After BIFF we will be holding screenings at theaters around the region, and will get DVDs out to all of you who have been waiting SO patiently for SO long.

As someone who had family and friends both directly and indirectly affected by "The Summer of Artie T." , I've been waiting for this movie for quite some time.

I'm hoping that someday soon I'll be able to buy it from a big stack at an 'endcap' at my local Market Basket. Such a fitting way to get 'More For Your Dollar'.
