Well, looks like Martellus Bennett will be a one and done. He said his goodbyes to Patriots fans last night via Twitter.

Yesterday the Patriots traded for veteran tight end Dwayne Allen, so it should be no surprise that Bennett has played his last game with the Pats. Hey, we all got what we wanted. The Lombardi Trophy.

The Patriots aren't willing to pay Bennett what he wants and Dwayne Allen costs less and is two years younger.

I'm just fine with Gronk's backup being Dwayne Allen.

So good luck to Martellus Bennett and thanks for playing a huge part in the Pats 5th Super Bowl winning season.
