Massachusetts is the 3rd Best State in the U.S. to Survive an Alien Invasion
It is more and more common for people to contemplate where they could go in the event of an alien invasion. Turns out, we might not have far to go here in New England.
One of the reasons why aliens are at the top of our mind might be because recently, there have been documentaries on Netflix like The Manhattan Alien Abduction or Investigation Alien.
I have watched both of those and if I didn't believe before that aliens are real, I sure do now.

It brings up a question if aliens invaded New England, and assuming they are not friendly, where would we go to stay safe?
According to GIGAcalculator.com, Massachusetts is in 3rd place for surviving an alien attack. Here's how they based their findings:
- Population Density
- Average duration of UFO visits
- UFO Sightings
- Number of Caves
- Percentage of area covered by Forest
- Percentage of area covered with bodies of water
- Total Military Force per 1,000 People
- Law Enforcement per 1,000 people
- Number of Scientists
- Number of Engineers
- Number of Healthcare Professionals
- Number of Food and Beverage Manufacturing Companies
A few of these metrics make total sense. The most obvious being the total number of Healthcare Professionals and the number of scientists and engineers in the Commonwealth. Massachusetts, as most everyone knows, has the best healthcare system in the world.

Who Beat Massachusetts to Survive an Alien Invasion?
The two states that scored higher than Massachusetts were Alabama and Virginia.
If aliens do invade, I'd like to think that we don't have anything to worry about. I would assume that they are technically more advanced than we are, so they would know all our tricks ahead of time.
If, for some reason, the aliens are not friendly, I don't think I'd head down to the Commonwealth. I would go to that house down the street from me with all the signs on his property that says, "GET OUT!" "NO TRESSPASSING" and "GET OFF MY LAWN." That guy would know what to do.
