This Massachusetts Pizza Chef Just Named One of the Best in the World

If you love pizza, (and who doesn't?) you have to get to 400 Assembly Row in Somerville, Massachusetts.

The restaurant's name is "Posto" and it's the home of Chef Juan Gabriel Perez, according to thebestchefpizza.com.

Chef Perez was just named #54 out of the Top 100 Best Pizza Chefs, not only in America, but in the World.

This isn't his first time on the list either.  Last year, he was at #60 and in 2023, he was #55 on the same list.

This Boston Chef is in World-Class Italian Company

Chef Perez is in good company on this list.  Out of the Top 10, 7 of them are from Italy, of course.

There were a few chefs from New York that were higher than Chef Perez like, Chef Anthony Mangieri from Una Pizza Napoletana in New York, New York.

Posto Has Moved

If you think you know Posto from Davis Square, they have moved to Assembly Row.  Remember when everything was going up in Somerville?  That's where they are now, on the corner of Assembly Row and Foley Street, right next to the Row Hotel.

If you want to jump on a plane for pizza, no judgement, as a matter of fact, I encourage it.  The number one pizza chef in the world is Chef Francesco Martucci at I Masanielli in Caserta, Italy.
