I love to eat as anyone who knows me will tell you and I especially love seafood.  I've been to a lot of seafood restaurants from here to California and there are very few that I give 5 stars to, but this place is definitely one of my all time favorites.  Ken's Place Seafood Restaurant located on Pine Point Road in Scarborough, Maine has been serving customers outrageously good seafood since 1927, according to their Facebook page.

On Mother's Day, my husband and I took my Mother in law to Ken's.  Kitty, said Mother in Law, grew up on Cape Cod, so she knows a thing or two about good seafood.  She also weighs about 100 pounds soaking wet.  I've never seen her chow down like she did that day.  She ordered a lobster roll and clam chowder.  I never thought she would eat it all, but she did.  THEN, I offered her some of my fried clams that I ordered and I was SHOCKED that she ate as many as she did!  When I looked in the container to see how many were left out of the pint, there was only one lonely clam left.  Unbelievable!  She loved 'em and so do I.  They are "melt in your mouth" delicious.

The coleslaw was really great too.  The girl in the middle here was in charge of making it that day and she did an amazing job!  She (Julia) also happens to be my bosses daughter.  Good job, Jules!

WARNING:  Be prepared to wait.  When we went, it was crowded, but by the time we left, there was LITERALLY a line going AROUND THE BUILDING waiting to order.  Wow.  I really had never seen anything like it!  YES, it's worth the wait.
