For what it's worth, the Climate Prediction Center has made their prediction.

Apparently New Hampshire and Maine could see a lot of precipitation during the winter months, but hopefully not the endless loop of snow storms that we suffered through last year.

“A strong El Niño is in place and should exert a strong influence over our weather this winter,” said Mike Halpert, deputy director of NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center. "Snow forecasts are dependent upon the strength and track of winter storms, which are generally not predictable more than a week in advance," the center said.

Does wetter but warmer mean more ice than snow? I don't know about you, but I'd rather have snow.

Do what you will with this information. As usual, predictions don't matter much when you're snowblowing at two o'clock in the morning.
