New Hampshire Drivers Beware, This Road Snack Can Make You Sick

As we are hitting the road for the weekend or maybe for the 4th of July, be on the lookout for any product by Diamond Shruumz, including chocolate bars, cones and gummies.  There's been a recall, according to the FDA, they are making people sick.  The products have been distributed to stores in New Hampshire.

The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services and Division of Public Health Services are advising people not to eat their products, according to a Press Release.

According to several media stories, the product is available at gas stations, vape shops and online.

The FDA Has Received Complaints of Illness

This has been happening since the end of May, the press release says, and the FDA has received a total of 39 illness complaints associated with Diamond Shruumz products.  The symptoms aren't minor either including seizures, loss of consciousness, confusion, abnormal heart rates, high or low blood pressure, nausea and vomiting.

If you have consumed these products, you should have yourself checked out or you can call the Poison Help Line at 1-800-222-1222.  The DHHS also advises calling them at 603-271-4496.

The Press Release was for New Hampshire, however, if I were you, I would stay away from these products even if you see them in other parts of New England, specifically, Maine and Massachusetts.

It's no secret that I am very much into alternative health supplements, however, people really need to realize that just because something is natural, like a mushroom, it doesn't mean it's good for you.  Quite the opposite, Mother Nature is not to be messed with.  There are things on this Earth that will make you very, very ill.  Know what you're putting in your mouth before you chomp into a chocolate mushroom bar.
