This is a great tradition for New Hampshire shoppers.
Aldi, the no frills grocery store, with 9 locations in New Hampshire is, once again, reducing prices on some Summer favorites.
According to usatoday.com, Aldi will reduce the prices on some Summer favorites like:
  • Clancy’s: Chili Lime Potato Chips - was $1.89, is now $1.79.
  • Friendly Farms: 2% Ultra-Filtered Milk – was $4.39, is now $3.89.
  • Millville: Protein Pancake Mix – was $3.79, is now $3.49.
  • Mama Cozzi’s: Mini Pizza Bagels – was $6.29, is now $5.99.
  • Summit: Popz Prebiotic Soda - was $1.59, is now $1.49.
As you can see, these prices are not drastic, however, every little bit helps.
If you plan to take advantage of these prices, you should check to see if there is an Aldi close enough to you that it would make sense.

As with any savvy shopper, you have to make sure that every item is a good deal.  For example, Aldi currently has eggs for sale at $5.29 a dozen, but I just bought a dozen last night at Hannaford for $3.99.
Market Basket Still Rocks in NH
Recently, I went into Market Basket and found that the prices there were very good as well.
I am lucky to have an Aldi in the City I work in, a Market Basket on the way home and a Hannaford in my home town.  Now if I could just get the discipline to make three stops, I'd be saving some big bucks!
