It's the age-old question: what do moms actually want for Mother's Day?

According to a recent survey conducted by a site called time2play.com, if you are scratching your head asking yourself what mom wants for Mother's Day, don't overthink it! Most moms just want a break. Think about it. Moms don't get to clock out at the end of a busy day. Many moms come home from their day job and then their mom job kicks in, aka the work never ends. Maybe all your mom wants is a well-deserved nap. "A nap" was the answer in 21 states!

The second most popular answer and the #1 response in New Hampshire is a meal they don't have to cook themselves; no grocery store, no dishes afterwards, nada! Shannon from Rochester said her family takes her to the Roundabout Diner in Portsmouth for their Mother's Day buffet every year. Doesn't that sound heavenly?

The third most popular answer was help with chores.

Maybe this year we all rethink our approach to Mother's Day. It's not so much about what we can get her, but more about what we can take off her plate and make this mom gig a little easier, at least for the day!

Happy Mother's Day to all of our Granite State mamas! We love and appreciate you so much.
