There's a new place to go in Rochester, New Hampshire and it looks really nice.

The Scenic Lounge located in the heart of downtown Rochester at 10 North Main Street is just opening.

The Owner of the Scenic Lounge, Chris Malloy, has been in the entertainment industry in this area for decades, but this is his first restaurant.

After a soft opening, the Scenic Lounge is expected to be an upscale restaurant for you to go for cocktails after work or a place to take your significant other out for a special night or just come in for a great meal on any given weeknight.

The Scenic Lounge Has Something for Everyone

According to the website, the food menu looks like there is something for everyone.  I have not seen Duck Cassoulet on any menu in the area, but they have it.  If duck isn't for you, how about smothered chicken or butternut ravioli.

The Scenic Lounge has a full service bar with a fun selection of Night Caps available.  Here are a couple from their menu:

  • Take Me Home Tonight made with Courvoisier Cognac, Kahlua and coffee.
  • Butter Me Up:  Screwball peanut butter whiskey, (what?!!!) Vanilla vodka and fresh brewed coffee.

If you don't drink, the menu has a great selection of Mocktails which are made with similar creativity, but minus the alcohol.

Best of luck to Chris and his team at the Scenic Lounge!
