NH Opens 4 Fixed COVID-19 Vaccination Locations

New Hampshire opened up four fixed location walk-in COVID-19 vaccination and booster shot locations around the state including one in the Seacoast region as the region's COVID-19 numbers remain high.

Three of the four locations are currently open with a fourth scheduled to open in Rochester Thursday morning. The location of that center was not disclosed.

The other locations are 161 East Milan Road in Berlin, The Common Man Event Room at 231 Main Street and the former NH State Liquor Store at 367 Washington Street in Claremont.

The hours off all the centers in Monday through Friday 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. There will likely be waits at all the centers.

“The state fixed vaccination sites provide New Hampshire residents additional opportunities to get vaccinated or a booster dose without having to make an appointment,” DHHS Commissioner Lori Shibinette said in a statement. “The demand for vaccine demonstrates New Hampshire’s resiliency as we all work to protect our most vulnerable citizens from COVID-19.”

Most of the 10,000 slots for the state's "Booster Blitz" program on Saturday were gone within 24 hours of becoming available on the state website.

The state COVID-19 dashboard has not been updated since Friday when reported 8,496 current cases were reported with the highest number of cases by county in Rockingham with 1,580. Strafford County has 785 mostly in Rochester and Somersworth.
