According to a report from WMUR, random homes in Portsmouth, Epping, Nottingham and Conway are being targeted for a scam involving people stealing credit card numbers, buying phones and sending them to random houses here on the Seacoast.  The criminals then hope to pick them up before the homeowner even realizes they've been targeted.

The report cites two people from The Bronx, New York who were recently arrested in an incident in Epping.  The homeowner had heard about the scam earlier that morning and called the cops before the criminals got away.

Makes me want to invest in a home security system.
