If you are a Northern New England kid, born and bred, chances are you grew up going to Canobie Lake Park. The fact that it is not open yet feels all kinds of wrong. If you don't go to Canobie Lake Park at least once in the months of June, July and August, did you even have a Summer? The park was set to open on May 2nd before all of this Covid-19 business brought our lives as we knew them to a screeching halt.

According to WHDH, the Salem, New Hamshire amusement park took to Facebook to announce their tentative opening date for the 2020 season. They are aiming for July 16th!!

Workers are preparing for this "new normal" and expect different policies and procedures inside the park to ensure everyone's safety. Updates on the new protocols will be on their website.

I can't help but notice that no one is wearing masks in that video and I don't see hand sanitizer stations either...JK JK!!
