The musicians behind "One Night of Queen"

One Night of Queen has been performed for over 20 years by Gary Mullen & The Works. Gary Mullen plays the part of Freddie Mercury with an award-winning impersonation, along with musicians David Brockett (guitar), Jon Halliwell (drums), Alan McGeoch (bass), and Malcolm Gentles (keyboard).

Does Queen still perform?

The classic rock band Queen has not performed with its primary members - Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon - since 1986, when Mercury gave his final stage performance before being diagnosed with AIDS. Mercury passed away in 1991, after the production of the iconic 'The Show Must Go On.'

Surviving members Brian May and Roger Taylor now tour alongside vocalists Adam Lambert and Paul Rodgers as "Queen +".
