Who are the musicians behind Face 2 Face?

Face 2 Face is a popular tribute band to honor the legendary music of Elton John and Billy Joel. The band was formed by Mike Santoro (Billy Joel) and Ronnie Smith (Elton John) in 2010, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The two not only aim to sing those songs that have etched into our minds and hearts, but to deliver a performance with the same energy that Elton John and Billy Joel brought to their audiences on stage.

Do Elton John or Billy Joel still perform?

Elton John no longer performs, having finished his farewell tour in 2023. Watch his moving final speech as he closed his final stage act. He is still alive and well, though struggling with vision issues and blindness after an infection.

Billy Joel is still touring, with dates scheduled through 2026. However, his recent tours have been rescheduled after health issues.
