Paul Simon Announces Three Shows in Boston, Massachusetts

OMG. Just stop. Paul Simon's "A Quiet Celebration" tour is coming to Boston this Summer!

Paul Simon will be at the Boch Center, a/k/a Wang Theater in Boston for three nights, June 10, 12 & 13, 2025.

I wonder what he's doing on the 11th? Pasta and cannoli in Boston's North End maybe? Good choice.

Paul has played Boston dozens of times over the years with different artists. Of course, he came here first with his partner, Art Garfunkel.

The two parted ways, however, after the success of one of the duo's biggest hits, "Bridge Over Troubled Water."

Although I was a baby when it came out (for real), I gained an appreciation for the song as one of the greatest ever written. Those lyrics get me every time. This was one of the records Paul Simon has won a Grammy for.

Since that time, I have listened to his entire catalog. Paul Simon, in my opinion, is one of the greatest songwriters of our time.

Boston's Boch Center is Stunning

If you have never been to the Boch Center, a/k/a The Wang Center, it is absolutely beautiful. I used to go see the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular every year when it came around to the Boch Center.

You can and should dress up and not feel out of place. This is the show to go all out for. First, it's Paul Simon, second, it's at the Wang. Put on some clean clothes.

Even if you sit in the last row in the balcony at the Wang, (Boch Center) you will be a) in the same room as Paul Simon and b) be able to see and hear him. This is one of those places that there's not a bad seat in the house.

Having said that, front row is where I'm gonna try to be. Wish me luck.

I think I've seen Paul Simon as many times as I've seen Sting. As a matter of fact, the two played together in 2014 at the TD Garden. I thought they created that tour just for me.
