Playing Shark in the Park 2024: New Hampshire's 'Wacko Magnet'
It's begun! Shark in the Park 2024 is a free community concert series on Wednesday nights throughout the months of July and August at Henry Law Park in Dover, New Hampshire, from 6-8pm. Our first band for the series is Wacko Magnet.
Wacko Magnet is a local band that plays all around the Seacoast area. The band has been together since St. Patrick's Day of 2023. All the members have been playing in local bands for years.
- Terri plays the bass. She used to be in the band Velvet Skies.
- Peter plays the drums, and he was in Cannon Drive Project before Wacko Magnet.
- Brian Croteau plays the guitar, and he's played everywhere around the Seacoast too.
- Sam Vlasich started singing with them in July of 2023. You might recognize Sam's name, face, and voice from Red Sky Mary, who disbanded. Sam then went to Feverslip and now a band called Bad Violet (when he's not rockin' out with Wacko Magnet).

The bandmates also have big hearts. Every year, Terri and the band organize a benefit for the Make a Wish Foundation at the garage at the Governor's Inn. Every penny that they raise goes towards a New Hampshire kid's wish. No admin fees come out of the benefit at all. Of course, there is live music with local bands.

They are really looking forward to playing Shark in the Park, and we are looking forward to hearing them!
Shark in the Park is proudly sponsored by Hilltop Fun Center, Route 108 in Somersworth, New Hampshire.
