Police Are Looking For A Man Impersonating A Cop in New Hampshire

Be aware...police in Barrington, NH are looking for a man suspected of impersonating a police officer.

According to WMUR-TV, the man went to the door of a home on Sawyer Lane in Barrington, on Monday claiming to be there to investigate a noise complaint. He spoke briefly with the homeowner before driving off in an unmarked black Dodge Charger with tinted windows.

Police told WMUR-TV the witness told them the man was wearing navy blue pants and shirt. The shirt was embroidered with a Barrington police logo. WMUR claims the suspect was described to officers as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, slim build, brown hair, green eyes and a mustache.

Barrington police are asking if you have additional information, or you see someone who matches that description to call them at 603-664-2700.
