Portsmouth Landscaper Giving Back To The Community

Money is really tight for a lot of people right now.  If you're not an "essential" worker then you're probably waiting on an unemployment check wondering how you're going to pay the bills at the beginning of the month or even afford groceries.

A Portsmouth, NH landscaping company knows that a lot of people are hurting right now due to the Coronavirus.  They decided to launch a $500 weekly contest to help.  According to Seacoastonline.com, Shane Emerson, owner of Artisan Grounds Landscaping, said he's not "flush with cash", but he wants to do his part in helping the community.

Emerson tells Seacoastonline.com that he plans to hold a contest for the next four Thursdays based on community submissions.  He'll pick one family or individual to receive the $500 and is encouraging other area businesses to do the same.
