The Red Sox celebrated David Ortiz's induction into the '500 Club' with a fitting ceremony before Monday night's game.

The greatest "clutch" hitter in Red Sox history was given a 15-minute celebration filled with special guests, some awards, and an opportunity to do what Ortiz does just as well as hit the ball; speak to the fans.

Former teammates Tim Wakefield, Jason Varitek, and Pedro Martinez all spoke to Ortiz's greatness as a player and teammate.

Arguably the most chilling part of the ceremony was the video highlight reel showing snippets of Big Papi's 500 home runs.

So many clutch home runs! So many in Yankee stadium! Say what you will about the Red Sox PR department but they definitely know how to throw a party for a player.
