Rochester Man Faces Animal Cruelty Charges
(Rochester, NH) - Police have charged a 22 year old with shocking his dog with a stun gun and threatening a neighbor.
Rochester Police say that on October 15th, 22 year old Gage White used a stun gun to shock his dog twice. When confronted by an Amazon Park neighbor, he reportedly placed the stun gun against the neighbors chest, but did not deliver a shock.
White turned himself in to police this week and was charged with two counts of Cruelty to Animals and one count of Simple Assault. White also voluntarily surrendered the dog to police.
Cario, a female mastiff mix, did not suffer any physical injuries in the incident. She will be brought to the Cocheco Valley Humane Society where she will be put up for adoption.
