Rye Police Reunite Iguana With Owner

(Rye, NH) - Monday was not your typical day in Rye, as police had to deal with not one, but two unusual animal issues!

Rye Police were called to Sagamore Road Monday morning where a cyclist had spotted this iguana. He was able to lasso the 2-foot long lizard, but suffered a minor bite in the process.

Police posted this photo of the iguana on Facebook, and he was soon reunited with his owner Brenda Shutlz, who said "Mr. Jingles" had escaped through a hole in the window screen.

To top off their day, Rye police later found a Guinea Hen along Washington Road.

Police are still looking for the owner.
