Thousands of fans are soon to arrive at New Hampshire Motor Speedway for this weekend's New England 300.

While track officials won't comment on the details of the safety plan, the recent attacks in New York, New Jersey and Minnesota have law enforcement and safety officials on high alert.

That means if you are headed to the track this weekend, use your head and have patience.

The lines could take a little longer to get through. And please think before you try to bring anything into the speedway that could be or look suspicious.

Safety officials are also asking that fans be aware of their surroundings, and don't hesitate to report anything or any behavior that looks suspicious.
