In what can only be described as surprising news, the Hampton based Smuttynose Brewery is headed for the auction block on March 9th, if it doesn't sell before then.

According to WMUR.com,

Owners said the explosion of microbreweries has changed the market, but stress that the company is still open and running as normal.

According to reports, the company brings in 10 million in annual revenue, so maybe we get our drinking brothers together to pony up and buy the beer!
