South Portland Police Officer Sings The Blues… Disinfectant Blues

Mainers went wild for this police officer with at least one person claiming he could be the next "American Idol." The South Portland Police Department posted a video on their Facebook page of Officer Al Giusto singing the blues… the "Disinfectant Blues." The department says Giusto wrote and produced the fun song with a serious message about staying safe and taking care of your physical and mental well-being during this coronavirus pandemic.

In an interview with WMTW, which is posted below, Officer Giusto said, "The subject matter is hard. That's what the blues is all about. It's not about sad music, it's about things that you're going through but you're trying to make the music more happy, so you can get your blues out.
