If you've never heard of the Space Force, don't feel bad, you're not alone.

The New Boston Space Force Center is located in, you guessed it, New Boston, New Hampshire.

The Space Force is under the Department of the Air Force, much like the Marines are a part of the Navy.  They are of equal service, but part of the same branch, according to an interview conducted by WMUR.

Established in 1942 as a Practice Area for Bombers

Before it was known as the New Boston Space Force Center, it was a practice area for bombers and fighter planes.

In the Summer of 2020, the location was changed from a U.S. Air Force base to U.S. Space Force, according to petersonschriever.spaceforce.mil.

The base is comprised of 3,000 acres. On that property sits "radomes," that have enormous antennae that communicates with every thing we do in modern life such as electronic banking and GPS navigation systems.

The systems at the Space Base have the ability to communicate with satellites from all over the planet.

The Space Force Protects Us From Foreign Threat

According to the WMUR interview, if a foreign missal was coming at us to do damage, the radomes at this site would be able to detect it.  At that point, the Space Force would go into defense mode and stop the threat.

Kind of like the Space Balls did in 1987, only in a very real, serious way.

Could New Hampshire Save the World From Aliens?

We haven't even started to talk about aliens yet, but it occurred to me that New Hampshire could save the world from those little green men.

Lately, there has been a lot of talk of aliens, but that's not new.  In the 70's, I slightly recall my Mother listening to a Carpenters song about aliens.

There's no way that anyone at the U.S. Space Force is going to talk about THAT.  It's probably with good reason. Can you imagine if we actually knew, without the shadow of a doubt that aliens were walking among us?

Maybe I'll go to the Exeter, New Hampshire UFO Festival in the Summer and ask around.  They may know more than I do.
