Staying At This Maine Casino Was a ‘Jackpot’ In So Many Ways

I have been playing at this fantastic casino for years now but hadn't yet stayed in their hotel. I was knocked out by how great the room was!

Oxford Hotel & Casino

They just opened this hotel last November so my room felt brand new. As someone who has stayed in Las Vegas over two dozen times, I can tell when a room is showing wear and tear and this room had zero signs of age.

Now THAT is a shower! My favorite bathroom/shower in all of Sin City can be found at The Palms. And Oxford Casino's is incredibly similar. I love not having to fight with a shower curtain in these spacious glass cabinets and the 'Rain' style shower fixture is the best for pressure and coverage. You can't beat it!

The one thing that this Oxford Hotel and Casino room BEATS Vegas at? By a 'long shot'?

The tap water.

Las Vegas tap water tastes like someone burnt charcoal that was already burnt.

The tap water at Oxford tastes clean and refreshing and I have to think that this is because Poland Spring is within an arms length of the place. You need to stay there if only for the tap water. And there's so much more!
