If you love our country, singing, or writing, here's your shot at winning an experience of a lifetime.

There's a very special song written by a very special person with military ties back to the Revolution.  "Strength of America", penned by BMI Award Winning Songwriter Stokes Nielson, commemorates the 25th Anniversary of the Military Women's Memorial at Arlington Cemetery.

Women in the military have many stories, and have contributed much to their service.  These stories are often not heard, but the Military Women's Memorial creates awareness and support for servicewoman all over our country.

Nielson says "The reason why I am doing this is because I wouldn't be able to do music if I didn't live in a society where we can be free".

New Hampshire and the New England area has had a special place in history and the battle for freedoms, so to share this opportunity is exciting for all of us.

Nielson wrote "Strength of America" as a tribute to servicewoman, but then called upon the music industry to support the cause. He's seeking out a local talent to sing this incredible song, and for those who are not singers, write an essay of up to 500 words.  Someone will be chosen from New Hampshire to win a trip to the incredible structure in Arlington Cemetery that is the Military Women's Memorial, sing on the recorded version of the song, or read their essay in Washington, DC, this summer.

The song winner also gets to record the project in a recording studio in Nashville, so it's a tribute to the military, but also a dream of a lifetime to be in a Nashville studio.

It doesn't matter whether you are a professional or amateur singer or writer.  Your passion for our servicewomen and men is part of the process.

This seems like a no-brainer for schools to write essays, or local singers to get their voices heard.
