This past September, 2024, it was announced that TD Bank was closing 20 branches including the one on Woodbury Avenue in Newington, NH and two Massachusetts locations in Worcester and South Hadley.  Now they have announced more locations.

TD Bank is the 10th largest bank in the Country, according to WMTW, but they are not the only bank to shutter doors in the recent past.

New Hampshire TD Bank Locations Closing

WMTW is reporting the closing of 4 New Hampshire branches:

  • Wilton, 905 Elm St.
  • Bristol, 10 North Main St.
  • Hampton, 40 High St.
  • Contoocook, 884 Main St.

Hopefully, the employees of the bank will be able to keep their jobs and work remotely, but it seems less and less likely that we will be able to look at someone face to face to conduct any type of business.  Really sad if you ask me.

I guess I'll have to buy my own lollipops.

Do you still go into the actual bank building for your transactions?
