Grab a film or two, or three, or 50.  The 19th Annual NH Film Festival has begun in Portsmouth.  According to their website, nhfilmfestival.com,

4 days. 100 films. One unforgettable journey. We inspire audiences with thought-provoking cinematic stories from visionary talents in independent filmmaking and provide a platform for emerging artists to advance their craft.

Many of the festival films all have connections to NH.  "The Lighthouse," starring Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson was written by Robert Eggers from Lee, NH.  "Uncut Gems," features Adam Sandler in a more serious and dramatic role for him  The National Geographic documentary "The Cave" is executive produced by Matt Renner of Durham, who went to Oyster River High School and produced the Oscar winning documentary, "Free Solo."

Even if you live in NH, you can make a weekend of it.  Our VP of Sales, Christine and her husband Dave, celebrate their wedding anniversary every year in Portsmouth, at the festival and they live in Dover.  The festival has been going on exactly as long as they've been married.  Sweet!
