I read this week that the members of Monty Python (minus Graham Chapman 'cause he died) are reuniting in July for a show in England. This news brought back many memories of watching Python's 'Flying Circus' show with my folks, aggrivating them to no end. In fact, I found this show at a time in my life where everything I did seemed to drive them nuts...and I loved it! From cranking Zeppelin, Van Halen, and Queen (though my mom would later ask me to make a tape of Queen's Greatest Hits), to choosing the drums as my instrument of choice and practicing 2 hours a day, my parents look of angst seemed permanently frozen on their face. It's a wonderful time in childhood..finding out that what you like to laugh at, listen to and watch, is like a bee under the shirt to your parents. And to this day...the beat goes on.
