This Hidden New Hampshire Gem is Where the Locals Go For Affordable Comfort Food and Drink

I feel pretty fortunate to live in Raymond, New Hampshire.

Tucked away not far off of Exit 5, off 101, there is a restaurant where many locals go, the Cork N Keg Grill.  

Raymond, NH is Home to Some Great Restaurants

Raymond is home to the Tuckaway Tavern and Butchery, which has become world famous for their food and a favorite of famous chefs like, Guy Fieri. Tourists come from all over the country and sometimes from all over the world, to partake of Bobby Marcotte's steak tips.

I sure am a fan, make no mistake.

Sometimes, however, I like to spread the love to a place that has been in Raymond for as long as I've been there, which was 2003, the Cork N Keg Grill.

The Cork N Keg Grill has a great selection of food ranging from salads to burgers.  They have one menu item called, "Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger."  Two burgers, fries, one plate.

I couldn't help but be reminded of the old SNL skit made famous by John Belushi.

They also have chili and New England Clam Chowder on the menu.

If you are looking for a good selection of beer and an affordable bite to eat, this is the place.  You could comfortably sit at the bar, order a beer or two, maybe a burger, play some KENO and call the bartender by his/her first name for the rest of the night.

The Cork N Keg Grill almost makes you think that the food will be "just okay" because of the prices, but it's DELICIOUS food.  You don't find that every day.  A place that has reasonable prices AND great food.

In fact, mashed potatoes, chocolate cake and a glass of white wine is the perfect meal.
